Caillou Gets Grounded: The Movie

First watched this movie back in 2016 or 2017 and I thought it was awesome. Just today I decided to rewatch it and I was surprised how much it holds up. Dated in some elements, sure, but still an immensely fun movie done entirely in Goanimate in a month. This is what indie animation is about.

Basically, Caillou's a kid in an abusive household and it just kinda goes off the rails. It's crazy, it's funny, Barney the Dinosaur shows up, I really don't wanna spoiler the experience. The animation is incredibly stellar, it's really impressive how much its creator was able to do in GoAnimate alone, with some actually really well-done choreography in fight scenes and the like.

10/10. Great watch with friends.

I watched this movie for nostalgia purposes and thought it would be bad, but boy was I in for a ride. This movie is so good in many ways but before I describe the good parts of the movie let's start with the flaws. The movie is animated entirely in go animate, this adds charm but also makes you feel less immersed, and all the voices are text to speech. If these flaws weren't here and if the characters were originally I could see this movie being on the big screen here's why. First off the movie tells an incredible story while still being very funny, You could go from feeling sad to happy in seconds. I also feel that the movie has a lot of charm as it's entirely animated in go animate, this does have draw backs but I feel this movie works best like this as it's the most faithful to all the other short videos of Caillou getting grounded. Overall a very great movie 10/10.

AS A PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOPATH, I CAN TELL YOU THAT THIS FILM MEETS MY STANDARDS. THIS FILM IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IN MY LIFE. I STILL FEEL LIKE I'M NOT WORTHY OF VIEWING SUCH A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A JOKE, BUT THEN REALIZED MY PSYCHOPATHIC TENDENCIES ARE NOTHING ON THIS FILM. I HAVE SEEN THE FULL POTENTIAL OF THE PSYCHOPATH GODS, AND THEY HAVE TAUGHT ME HOW TO TREAT MY BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN, WHICH ARE IN MY EX-WIFE'S CUSTODY!

This movie is good but sadly issac does not like this movie because of what he did for an entire month on this movie ut the movie is still good the creator does not like it but the viewers like it and it got 1,342,900 views on his first it-saac channel.
