the pond

A superb film. For atmosphere, supported by small details, from the bracelet to the little turtle, from the clash creating cold circle of aggression to the end. The music is one of beautiful virtues. A summer day in vacantion. A pond. Three young women and the stubborness of one of them. Few ultra orthodox Hassidic boys and their attittude about the presence of girl in pond. And her intention of revenge.

The realism is the basic motif to see it because it is a film who, scene by scene, you feel.

The acting and photography are just great.

A sweet - bitter story of summer.
