Makes you glad it is only 10 minutes long due to how well it does what it does

This short focuses on a young female junior in a company, who has put in a compliant about harassment from a male senior within the company. Predominately the film is set in a meeting room where the conclusions of the investigation are being fed back to her. It is a difficult 10 minutes to watch, because throughout the lead actress does a terrific job of conveying her powerlessness, her fear, and the feeling of being trapped. The camerawork and shot framing helps her with this, giving her plenty of direct time on camera without distraction. The writing is strong too - not just on her, but in creating characters that are instantly recognizable in terms of their 'roles' within the Corporate response, thus filling us in a lot on what is going on.

I was surprised by the impact it had on me because of how well done it was. It is a situation I will never experience due to my gender, age, race, and position within current job - however I felt the film connected me to the lead character really well to understand what she is feeling, why she is in this position, and how awful it is for her. It could easily be used within training on harassment in the workplace. A very strong drama that does a great deal with deftness thanks to strong writing and an excellent lead performance.

    about harassment

A profound delicate subject , presented in fair - precise manner. A case of sexual harassment and a solution far to be so surprising. And the long chain of same propositions to the other. Admirable performance of Angela Wong Carbone, inspired construction of story and beautiful exploration of a dark aspect of near reality.
