I thought this would be a good family sitcom similar to a 90's style family sitcom. Unfortunately, it's filled with a lot of foul language and horrible acting by the lead characters. The actors who play the mom and dad have zero on screen chemistry as well as a lack of delivery. It almost seems as though they are improving instead of going by a script. Also, J Anthony has potential to carry the show but falls flat due to rushed dialogue and lack there of. If it weren't for the kid actors Tayler Buck and Alex Henderson the series would be the least bit interesting. Currently searching for the plot of the show because it's not apparent in any of the 2 episodes I've watched.
I've been a J. Anthony Brown fan for many years. I was really looking forward to watching the show. J. Anthony was huge on the TJMS because of his spontaneous wit and comedy. Producers: The profanity isn't necessary. Every time an obscenity came out of his mouth, I cringed. J. Can save this show if the foul language is cancelled. He's a funny man but the incessant 'cussing' is a distraction from the comedy. The dad is uptight & stiff which doesn't help either. I would love to see this show survive.
I really thought it would be funny cause I like david mann, but the parents acting Is horrible..I'm not impressed at all.
I am willing to give it a chance because it's a Tyler Perry production. The acting is poor, very poor. The storyline is weak and really not funny.
Hoping it will get better.🤞🏼
This has got to be the worst show that Tyler Perry has ever created. The show is just not funny! The laugh track is distracting, laughing at every line to things that are not at all funny. The casting of the roles for the husband and wife are off. The husband seems to be lost in the role and the wife is overacting, which is hard to watch. J. Anthony Brown would be okay in his role if he stops cussing every other word, which is a real downer and unnecessary. The actors that play the daughter and son, are the only interesting things about this show. They advertise this show with David and Tamala Mann from Meet The Browns, however, I'm four episodes in and so far, no Cora or Mr. Brown. So disappointing, maybe the Mann's could save this disaster! I love you TP, but not this!!
