How do you do, fellow kids?

It's got all the hallmarks of the short form adult animation format - it's crass, a lot of feels pointlessly edgy and about eighty percent of jokes don't really land. Tudyk seems to be enjoying himself and the first episode was okay but this one plunges it out of my interest - I didn't quite get that the whole endeavour was going to be a rather sad satire on "social media culture" and I'm not entirely certain that a handful of 50 year old Robot Chicken guys are the ones to write it.

In the video, Devil opens a box of what he calls "Teppenneitz, the German concept of thinking of the perfect comeback long after the chance to use it has passed." The actual word for that is "Treppenwitz," (pronounced "trep-in-vitz") literally translates to staircase joke in German, because the witty retort usually hits you in the stairwell on your way out. Of course, by then, it's already too late to use it. The term was derived from the French expression "L'esprit de l'escalier," which also translates to staircase joke.
