After clawing into dull Slasher flick Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss (2019-also reviewed) I decided to continue to dig into the short film line-up at the Soho Film Festival.

Placing all of his romantic hopes in a Grindr meet up,the screenplay by writer/director/editor/lead actor Noah Causey explores abusive use of a codependency relationship and the ghostly ripples of an assault, cleverly through the lens of Horror,with June's experience being one that continues to haunt him.
Getting the duo together under a stylish,reflecting neon shimmer, Causey & cinematographer wonderfully use dissolves and overlapping images to bring a ghostly presence into the lingering aftermath of the assault.
