It wouldn't win an oscar, but it's what movies were meant to do. Entertain, thrill, and immerse. Is it perfect ? No. Is it good ? Yes. Based on a true story, but lacking in character development. Still, a worthy watch that is well acted & tense. In the end it just feels good & I for one am glad I watched it. It's quite amazing to know what human beings are capable of in their darkest hours or in the grip of despair. This is a tale worthy of being told & a movie that almost gets everything right in the telling. Pay no attention to the negative reviews, just watch it for yourself. It's not perfect, just a perfectly fine movie.
