This movie is entertaining as the makers has tried hard to make the love in marriage in a different form
The story is little different and some may find stupid in this internet world but should be taken as a movie
Vikrant once again proved him a top class actor with maturely supported by Kirti and others..the pace is little slow but reasonable..there was a good place was humor but the director kept it low..the direction and edits were on the dot
As this weekend is full of entertainment this movie will give you soft entertainment.

Kriti's acting, fresh concept are plus points.
Songs and end part could have been better.
In current internet and mobile phone era, this story theme seems to be unrealistic in real life but it is enjoyable in watching movie.
No vulgarity or adult jokes, can be watched with kids.
As far as about the social message on inter caste marriage this movie concern, it is up to the people how they perceive it.

14 Phere review :
A live-in couple (Vikrant - Kriti) decide to tie the knot but their conservative parents won't agree to this inter-caste alliance. Eureka!! The guy hires two chota mota actors who pose as the parents of the groom as well as the bride and so the couple get married twice...hence the title is 14 pheras instead of 7.
The film has its fair share of humourous moments; Vikrant Massey is impressive as always; Kriti is decent as well; Gauahar Khan surprises you with her superb comic timing in a deglam avatar. Her first scene itself, is hilarious. Jameel Khan makes his presence felt. 14 Phere entertains quite well....right untill its climax. Then it just dithers and withers away!!!

Movie is simply outdated. Boring in major part. NOt good to invest 117 minutes.
Watch this movie
It is an family movie to watch.
In this movie there's lots of fun.
In this movie there's lots of fun.
Just a normal smooth movie, not much of emotions, over acting from few supporting cast. Vikrant didn't get the opportunity to show what he possesses. Kirti was decent. Story is same old typical bollywood. If you have nothing to do. Watch it.
I saw few good ratings and watched...All stupid ratings...i cant belve.. not a single moment i laughed..it was so unrealistic plot ..u wont accept a single line which makes it a sensless movie...its better to skip.

Cons:
This movie has one of the most worst climax. Dialogues were absent so most of the time is covered by music and songs with no wordings.
Pros: 1. If you are planning to watch Hungama 2 then beter you watch this.
2. If you liked Hungama 2 then this is blockbuster for you. ;)

Movie started strongly but ended on a weak note, otherwise you would enjoy this one, light hearted comedy with some nice performances.

Two stars for leads only. Old concept of degrading indian culture again. Why just intercaste story? Why not inter-religion? Do not watch. Cast was good but most predictable and cringe storyline. Thank you.

Making fun of Hindu Gods... This bollywood has gone nuts. And is ever so silent on Abrahamics, if not glorifying them.
I wish I could give a zero.

A comedy of errors, 14 Phere begins strong with a plotline reminiscent of Priyadarshan film. But as the film progresses, the story becomes quite predictable and jumbled, which appears more like a medley of similar films. Director Devanshu Singh tries to weave in many poignant topics like casteism, honour killing and dowry through this social comedy, which raises the expectation of the viewer. Maybe he could have done justice with it, had the screenplay been tightly put. When they call it a social comedy, viewers expect memorable punchlines, which the movie fails to deliver. Nevertheless, it is a clean family comedy that can be entertaining for all age groups who enjoy a good shaadi film.
Sanjay a theatre enthusiast simpleton from Jahanabad in Bihar falls in love with his college senior Aditi, a bold jatni from Jaipur. Much like fairy tales, they are living and loving a happy life with successful careers. However, the pressure from their conservative families of getting married within their caste keeps hovering like a dark cloud above their heads.
The film rides on the shoulders of the talented Vikrant Massey who tries his best to keep the show running with portrayal of the simple Bihari Rajput, a role that he pulls off with ease. While Kriti's screen presence is stunning, especially in the bridal and ethnic attires, she fails to match up to the skilled acting of Vikrant. Even as she tries hard to portray a bold and fearless Jatni, she is stuck with a poker face expression for most parts. The banter between Jameel and Gauhar as theatre actors, as well as their individual performances are a treat to watch. Their humour is well timed according to the character. Yamini Das as Sarla exudes such mushy warmth as Sanjay's mother that the viewer would want to give her a hug for being sweet to a fault. Some of the most precious moments in the film are between her and Kriti as the mother and daughter-in-law, a moment enhanced by the soulful rendition 'Ram-Sita' sung beautifully by Rekha Bharadwaj.
Overall, the film would certainly appeal to those who love family sagas and shaadi dramas. Due to its simplistic portrayal of characters and clean comedy, it can very well be a weekend family movie time pick. Yet, better writing and some good dialogues could have brought about some noteworthy performances, given the relevance of the theme.
