The director, Tino Struckmann, is a former soldier and bodyguard who worked a lot with women's safety. The idea for the film came about out of a desire to show real stories from around the world and the US about what is really happening to women. The events in the film are all inspired by real events.
The film was financed by Tino Struckmann personally and was made with the help of everybody involved as a collaborative effort, in order to shine light on the issues involved, but in a lighthearted way with an action kick.
