Brian Haner, Jeff's "Guitar Guy" sideman, is the father of Avenged Sevenfold lead guitarist Synyster Gates.
The puppets wore special costumes for this special. Walter was in a red and green plaid shirt with matching vest. Achmed the Dead Terrorist wore a Santa hat. Bubba J was wearing a red shirt with a green cap. Peanut's shoe was red with green laces and mistletoe on it. Finally, José Jalapeño on a Stick had a decorated sombrero, and his stick was wrapped in Christmas lights.
The DVD release is the first to not have censored and uncensored audio option. The entire program is completely censored with certain strong language being beeped out.
The puppets that appear on this special are (in order of appearance): Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Bubba J, Peanut and José Jalapeño on a Stick.
The background sets change during each puppet's appearance. For Walter, the background set is a red Christmas-decorated living room. For Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the background is a cave in the mountains with Christmas lights decorating the rock walls. For Bubba J, the set is a trailer out in the woods. And finally for Peanut and Jose Jalapeno on a Stick, the set is a green Christmas-decorated living room, similar to Walter's.
