Oh ship, it's a movie!

Good way to pass the time with my family. Good for all ages from my pop to my nephews. This reminded me of one of our trips if we had cameras following us. Not sure if it's really a documentary disguised as fiction. Funny and heartwarming, especially with the step children. If not a documentary the children actors were very good. Spectacular shots of the ship and shore excursions. Thinking it could be one of those late night commercials paid for by the cruise industry to get cruisers excited after covid, and good idea too.

It's a movie for teenagers and blended families

This isn't a movie with sexual hijinks. If that's what you're looking for in a movie watch Boat Trip (2002). Oh Ship may be a snarky play on a curse word, but this isn't a sex filled movie. It's kind of wholesome, but does have PG-13 situations.

The child actors steal the show, they're really good and have good chemistry. The adults are background characters as the kids explore the emotional chaos of having their parents fall in love, and the kids must come to terms with their parents wanting to seal that love with a romantic wedding on holiday.

Bad everything!

I'm just trying to find random movies to watch. I enjoy cruising and like to try out the Indies, so I thought I'd try this. Not even 15 mins into it I had to call it quits. The acting is so bad it's not even laughable. The actors mumble all the time so it's impossible to understand most of what they're saying. It's like a middle-school video project failure. Just awful.

Good Bad

Watched this and enjoyed it thoroughly. Can't understand half of the lines and most of the shots and scenes last too long. Everything is funny whether intended or not. Definitely recommend. Terrible movie though<3.
