Don't get me wrong. It is interesting, especially the interviews with Soros himself and those who know him personally.
But this ends up being a not-so-thinly-disguised vanity piece for one of the richest and most influential men in the world. This apologia doesn't bother to investigate any of the more sinister accusations against him, such as political interference or economic oppression of his ideological opponents.
Nor does it seriously address the long-term results of the economic and political influence he exerted in South Africa which (arguably) has resulted in the current genocidal movement taking place there, nor the decimation of that country's infrastructure. Nor the election interference in the U. S.
Nor does it consider the veracity of some of the imagination-stretching stories about his early life or family. Nor does it interview any of his many reputable critics or try to address their criticisms of him. The list goes on.
Maybe his critics are wrong. But this film doesn't bother trying to address their claims, even for the purpose of debunking. Pure fluff.
Another reviewer describes this film as "Truly fair and balanced." Sure. Just like Fox News is "fair and balanced."
