Rinaldo

This came in a 3-pak of Handel operas from Glyndebourne. It's the 2011 production and it has lots of fine singing from Sonia Prina as Rinaldo, and Brenda Rae as Armida. There's a startling scene with Rae as leather-clad dominatrix and Prina tied down to a bed; you wonder if the show is going to veer off into SM. Compares well to the 2020 Maggio Musicale video I reviewed recently in everything but sets and costumes.
