One of the most compelling films I have watched. The acting and cinematography, music and sound effects all gel perfectly to enhance this story about love and betrayal and the consequences that lead to the destruction of ones mental state. Wassim Hawat gives a strong believable performance that exudes an equal combination of empathy and fear from the audience. Well directed, performed and edited brilliantly. From beginning to end this film captures your imagination and takes you into the characters eye, the sound eye title is so appropriate as you become one along with the protagonist seeing through the lense of his world.
Some of the things that I loved about the film:
Themes were really clear - I loved the way that religion was constantly conflated with the protagonist
The length was perfect for the story
The contrast of the suburban Australian setting with the supreme nature of god was fascinating
A lot of the shots were super impressive, especially when character's were physically reflected through the cross
Character's obsession with marriage and love - he was indoctrinated into worshipping these seemingly perfect and pure ideologies and his world fell apart when they were dark and complex.

- through him using the camera, playing "god" by being the videographer and the subjects of the film being his pawns
- through the conflation of religion with violence, what can truly be forgiven?
- the silencing of women, it appeared the protagonist put his love on a pedestal, which is common In religious practices, and once her purity was shattered he became undone

Originality with experimental origins makes this film a must see. Has all the qualities of a break out release for future productions of this genre. The filmmakers have intentionally taken subject matter we often see and have told it in a non linear fashion. It uses narration and imaging to convey it's message to the audience. The Editing is superb and engaging. Even though it runs for a little over 30 minutes it still keeps you absorbed in the drama. Six hundred characters for a review is too long, I think what I've written is enough to convey the message about this film. It still asks me to write more even after clicking submit with I think is... Anyway the filmmakers have a great future ahead of them. Looking forward to see the next installment.
If you're looking for a movie that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you thinking long after the credits roll, look no further than the film I'm about to review.
From start to finish, I was completely captivated by the main character's story. I connected with him on a level that I didn't expect, and the way his emotions were portrayed on screen was nothing short of flawless. Every feeling was conveyed with such rawness and authenticity that it was impossible not to empathize with him.
The character in question is a lonely man who has been consumed by his own grief and the bottle. He's unable to forgive others or himself, and as a result, he's unable to find peace. The film takes you on a journey through his struggles and his pain, and as an audience member, I found myself rooting for him every step of the way.
What impressed me most about this movie was the execution. The pacing was perfect, and each scene was shot in a way that allowed the audience to feel every moment as deeply as the main character did. The cinematography was beautiful, and the score perfectly complemented the mood of the film.
In short, this is a movie that everyone should see. It's a powerful story that will leave you feeling a whole range of emotions, and the main character's journey is one that will stay with you long after the credits have rolled. If you're looking for a film that will make you feel, this is it.

Captivating short film , exploring number of emotions in change of circumstances. Through the lens of his camera, photographer himself captures and experiences the contrasts of love and jealousy and faith versus evil.
It has a very interesting concept and well edited.
