A young Italian woman, Orsola, hears the call of Jesus, Divine Master. She is set aside by Blessed James Alberione to begin the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master and becomes Mother Scholastica. The program is based on the true historical events of the founding of the order and the early beginnings of the Pauline Family. The Pauline Family includes 10 institutions founded by Blessed James Alberione in the early 1900's including the Daughters of St. Paul, Society of St. Paul, and the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master. Their mission is to proclaim the Gospel as St. Paul would if he lived today through the media. The film was commissioned by the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master.
