It's a copy of Forgotten- 2017 Korean movie. However, it is a great attempt. Cinematography is at its best. The actors didn't act well and doesn't look realistic. Please take it as a constructive feedback.

Very rarely we see psychological and psycho thrillers in telugu. But debutant Kiran gave a neat thriller. Though lead actors faces aren't convincing at first they make us get involved later. Bgm , Cinematography and Visuals are highlight with limited budget. First half is a bit weak with slow pace. Few twists are good. Slow pace overall. Overall a neat thriller by a debutant.

While the film presents an intriguing plot, its execution falls short due to a lackluster screenplay. The script itself calls for engaging and meaningful conversations, which unfortunately were lacking in this particular film.

The performances of the actors, with the exception of Pooja, leave much to be desired, serving as a notable drawback to the overall viewing experience.

On a positive note, the film showcases beautiful locations that add visual appeal to the narrative. Additionally, the cinematography shines in exterior scenes, although it falters when it comes to capturing interior shots.

The music in the film is average, failing to leave a lasting impact. However, the editing is decent, contributing to a smooth flow of the storyline.

In conclusion, while the film possesses an interesting premise, its lackluster screenplay and subpar performances hinder its overall quality. The visual aspects, such as locations and cinematography, offer some redeeming qualities, but the film falls short in delivering a truly memorable experience.

Film Review: Gatham ( translation: The Past) .. a Telugu language film streaming on Netflix & Prime Video ( with Hindi audio and English subtitles)

Filmed entirely in the US, the story is based on A couple who set out on a road trip but get stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down. They take help from a stranger, unaware that he is a psychopath.

Filled with exciting twists and turns, especially in the latter part ,Gatham is a deceptively engaging psychological thriller. Won't say anything much to avoid revealing spoilers that might kill the suspense and spoil ur fun !!

Editing is crisp and cinematography capturing the snowy landscape near lake Tahoe, the eerie ambience of a remote cabin in the wilderness, all brilliantly executed. Casting is bang on with everyone pitching in and giving decent performances.

Even though some scenes are over the top , most of the film is gripping and will keep u hooked till the end !!

Well crafted thriller, worth a dekho for sure !!
