Rosemead

I got to see this at the NH Film Festival and totally loved it and was an emotional wreck after finishing the film. The writing, and the acting by both Lucy Liu and newcomer Lawrence Shou, coupled with the masterful cinematography, made more a spellbinding experience that had me paralyzed in my seat and unable to move. The scenes where Joe would fall into his schizophrenic episodes were extremely intense and made me feel like I was right there experiencing it with him.

Liu and Shou's chemistry on screen was so good that I had to remind myself that they are not mother and son. Both of their performances were incredible and I hope they get the recognition that they deserve.
