Jonathan Pryce has the distinction in being the only actor to have ever played both a James Bond movie's major villain [as Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)] and also James Bond creator Ian Fleming in this film, Ian Fleming: Where Bond Began (2008).
The documentary was made to commemorate the centenary anniversary of the birth of Ian Fleming and as a promotional tie-in doc to promote Quantum of Solace (2008).
