Am glad that I exist in this game era ... Thank you to every one who participated in such a masterpiece.
Am not young and I told my kids this will be my last game that am going to play. And what a closure.
Every aspect of the game is mizmorizing. The story, graphics, game mechanics and the sound track.
The dialogues are funny and sad at the same time it's a sweet agony. So relatable for a man fighting his fate as we all are, trying to overcome our own demons and not to be sorry for our actions but trying to be better...
The only take away from ragnarok is I thought it's going to be like god of war in the Greek myth that consist of 3 parts ... And I don't think there will be another part after this one. And I hoped for more epical final fight.. not that it's not epic ending but a little more engaging and unconventional it was close to any other major fight in the story. Having said that still this game is a solid 10 out of 10.
Just for the info am writing this while listening to Raeb's Lament....

This is one for the books. I've been playing god of war since its inception and this is the most satisfying installment in the series by far and that's saying a lot. The journey Kratos has took over 8 games defies description but I will do my best to give it justice. This man has became a God by slaughtering the Pantheon. You sympathesize with Kratos, knowing he's justified in all his actions. Sure, they're out of anger and malice but that ill-will is well deserved. Then we have the Norse version of the games and I'm taken aback by this much more reserved and wise protagonist. His redemption arch sets a bar I don't think another game will top for a long time. To watch him become a father and a fully-realized God is a sight to see. Anyone who has a Playstation I urge you this is a series that cannot be missed.
This game is nothing less than an emotional roller coaster ride, I won't spoil the story but very few Hollywood movies can match the story telling. Story, Gameplay, Graphics all were perfect, the same perfect formula of 2018 game God of War was used and you don't need to change what you have already perfected, Don't watch any YouTube reviews go in the game blind and experience every new character for the first time, its a must buy for first day and playstation have told us that they are still the king of making single player story games and no studio can come even close to playstation when it comes to making a great story.
This is god of war's (2018) doom eternal situation. A really good game reboots a beloved franchise and gets a sequel after four years that takes the original and improves on everything. Still this game is unique enough from the original to feel completely new.
From beginning to end you are enthralled into the 9 beautifully realized realms as the story takes you from amazing spectacle to amazing spectacle. This game is never predictable and it makes for a rollercoaster i wanna ride plenty more times. The acting performances, the character models and camera work make every cutscene something you should never skip. This truly is another sony masterpiece.

Now I understand how Sony was convinced to release first GOW (2018) on PC. Honestly if I wouldn't have a Playstation, I could be looking to get a PS4 or PS5 asap. Because this is not only one of the greatest title of Sony, but also it's probably the best blockbuster in recent memory. Even first Avengers or Endgame didn't give me this sort of satisfaction to be honest, nowhere close. Such a complete and epic storytelling, vastly increased depth in character development, dialogues and actions make sense, unforgettable moments, perfected an already great gameplay with highly improved graphics. And most of all, face animations are probably the most realistic ones. Especially Freya and Kratos seemed like almost real people.
Before the release, I've been thinking this is going to be a huge DLC as some claimed but I can assure it's entirely something else. Maybe first one or two hours you'll have that feeling briefly but be patient, it only gets better and better along the way. They've already created an amazing game engine and strong gameplay with first one, apparently it gave developers an opportunity to focus on storytelling, art direction and additional characters and oh boy, it really paid off.
No need for any spoilers. And I highly recommend avoid any gamesplay videos at all costs. You'll want to see and feel every detail for yourself. I'm very careful using overused words like masterpiece and epic, and I'm really careful to rate a title 10/10. But this game deserves everything.
Finally, thanks to Sony. Single player gaming should never die because such a perfection is only possible by single player titles. And thanks to Santa Monica. This game is a "naughty" statement to other Sony Studios about how a sequel should be made. This is a must-have!
