The final version of the film was released in only one cinema in Brazil. The movie continued for 20 days in this cinema. Sindrome de Pinocchio was one of the 10 finalists in Brazil's pre-selection to Academy Awards 2010. The movie still awaits the national release.

Goofs
Kalyn Sayen kills a lot of people in the forest scene. Her face becomes dirty of blood. When Achim discovers that Kalyn is Katherine and says it she appears with her face totally clean. After this dialogue her face becomes dirty again.
