    the beginning

The birth of Jumanji , in Sierra Leone, in middle of XIX century. Sure, the presence of English instructions can seem very unrealistic. But the film works very well . Maybe more as a sketch, maybe more as premise or answer to the public.

But, the best part remains after the credits . In touching manner, because the purpose to made this film becomes more significant than the film itself.

Sure, passion, hommage to a lost son and brother and support for a noble humanitarian cause.

Its a $10k movie for a good cause

Its very much a B list short film but still worth a watch. After credits scene will have you tearing up.

How Did This Game Evolve ?

So the opening scenes are in Sierra Leone where tribesman crafter finishes carving game pieces just before his village is invaded and destroyed. The outer boundries of the game board are hollow. Later the game is recovered and taken to camp where it appears as we see it today with elaborate instructions written in Englsih . I missed the transitiion.

But, and this is the important part of the review. Stick around till after the credits to be enlightened about the Anchors4Chrildrens project.
