One of the smartest Greek TV Series. Aristotelis Rigas and Dimitris Apostolou try to implement the modern world with amazing cast, using clever and creative humor.

Simultaneously, the series promotes the Greek culture by singing songs or referring to lines and icons of the Greek cinema theater and television.

BRAVO!

It is not wrong to think that this kind of series is a must in every television program. The main reason for this is that mum's cake HAS IT ALL. More specifically, there is no doubt that all the episodes combine clever humour, terrific acting and meaningful lines with a simplicity that is not easy to find. Also of particular interest is the accuracy and the way the show itself portrays the majority of Greek families, "stripping" all their positive and negative aspects. Moreover, the way in which the episodes touch on sensitive issues for Greek society and beyond is exemplary. In more detail, Mama's Cake breaks down prejudices in the simplest and most elegant way and makes the viewer reconsider his or her opinion on topical social issues.

In short, Mama's Cake is a series that uses comedy as its "vehicle" and has the potential to help viewers think.

Truly, it is a show that everyone should watch.
