Could have been better. Practically it's not so difficult for any powerful politicians to carry on his affair even if he is not emotionally involved the leading man could have easily bought her house in unknown location and supported her financially any ways our politicians are so shameless who is bothered about being caught. The climax was over dramatic . Actors have done good job thee leading man has good personality hard to find in marathi movies where leading men are ugly.
The kind of storytelling in this film is just terrific. 2 hours 40 minutes is the runtime, but not even a minute feels out of the place. After the first 15 minutes itself, you are transported to a different era. This is the perfect example of how stories about extra-marital affairs should be told. The best thing about the story is that it stays intact with reality. It never feels over the top or unbelievable. Performances, music, set designs, etc. Are top notch. This is a must-watch....
Amazing love story , Amrita's acting is superb as always Ajay Atul musics and voice are so soothing
I can say this is the one of the best marathi movie you ever see must watch movie.
Amruta Kulkarni was just a dancer before but in this movie she is phenomenal actor too. All other actors did amazing job. Do yourself a favour and watch at least once. All the songs will stay in my mind forever. Music by Ajay-Atul that's always seems Awesome. But specially for this film in any situation Background music that make me feel like I'm present in that situation. Special Mention for Cinematography that has Done by Sanjay Memane which is Superrrb.

At a time when Marathi talents are going places with their low cost premium content on web and other platforms here comes a mediocre take on a classic story!
A person who closely watches the Marathi Entertainment platter would be let down on this so called artistic genre.
Prasad has conveniently lazed himself with not working on the period creation. The screenplay, well is there one? May be he could have attempted Natak instead of a movie. Guess thats what transpired the whole movie, actors mouthed dialogues with a static camera doing nothing else.
Costumes and makeup was so loud that it drifted from the reality of the period.
Aditya seemed lost, Chandra...well she tried to emote judiciously but for her costumes and makeup.
Felt a very great disconnect between the story and characterisation. Cinematographer lost his chance to capture the essence of Sarang phata or the mood of the characters.
When one creates or tries to adapt a classic novel, a lot of hard work needs to be put into place. The main problem with Oak is he does not focus on the realistic display of costumes. The same was visible in Hirakani too, every villager had this spic and span clothes, makes you wonder which is this period.!!!
Sound is another dept which is poorly explored by Oak. Either he ignores the same or does not want to invest.
The sort of periodic development which is an integral part of this classic is conveniently wiped under the rug to give us this below average package devoid of the Soul!
Oak should work 360 degrees if he wants to reach out to a much mature and international vierwers. Else he may remain another feather of the industry to be easily forgotten.
The movie only stands out for Ajay-Atul!

Poor Direction... Poor Cinematography..
Everything is poor.. Not worth watching even once...
I was so bored watching the movie. Seriously if you could not make good movies then dont make them...
