Slice of life with a dash of opera mixed in. The characters are fun and the series does well in developing their back stories. There are some episodes dealing with darker topics but it is handled well without making light of the issues.
Amazing ED song too. Greatly recommend.

It's a real shame that this anime is so hidden. Seriously, I don't get it, because it's really good but almost no one has heard of it. This is a really strong, character-based story about some students studying in a famous Musical And Theatrical School pursuing their career in theatre. I really liked the character development in this anime. Some characters, yes, are very one-dimensional and annoying, but most of the main characters are well explored and the bonding between the main 2 characters is really well done. I really liked the main character, Sarasa. Initially she seemed like your usual joyful female anime protagonist but as the anime goes on, we learn more about her determination to be an actress. I also liked that they showed a lot of things an actress has to go through to pursue their dreams. Also, this show is gutsy. I mean they show some really, REALLY traumatic stuff while exploring some character's past. I was not expecting that at all. But that just made their character arcs more satisfying.

No one else has written a review for this yet, so I'm going to. Basically, this show is fun and you should watch it. I have literally no interest in opera or acting in plays, and I still thought it was good. The characters are all unique and interesting, and the story is well done too. It's not like this is the best show ever, but I think you should give it a chance.
