La Planta's team travels to Uruguay, the first country in Latin America to legalize cannabis, to meet important characters who, through their experiences, tell us the trajectory of this plant. The film brings together different perspectives from testimonies by growers, artisanal producers, entrepreneurs of all scales, as well as patients, doctors, biologists, chemists and associations, all orbiting the fact that the medicinal use of cannabis cures and helps to improve quality of life of patients.
