After 35 years of absence, Allal Bengharib returns to his young family, wishing that his wife Zohor will forgive him for the mistakes of the past, for running behind art and fame in the Diaspora and to embraces his only son, Farid, and feel a sense of parenthood that he has been missing for years. But Allal finds himself in an unthinkable dilemma. His son, Farid, became one of the finest psychiatrists in the country, married and father of three while his wife Zohor raised Farid on the basis that he was an orphan after his father died and was martyred in the October War of 1973.
