Based on the story of Hirotaro Ogura, a labor organizer for Japan Airlines (JAL), and the aftermath of Japan Airlines Flight 123. As the movie was done without cooperation of the airline, it was represented by the thinly disguised National Airlines.
Violinist Diana Yukawa, whose father was killed on Japan Airlines Flight 123, contributed to the soundtrack.
