    Finding its voice.

Enjoyable episode. Finding its voice. Appreciate the cast, & look forward to future character development.

    Good show but major good

Supposedly this show is set one year after the Buffalo Bill capture in 1991. WACO happened in 1993. It's a good show but I anticipate many other anachronisms. It's definitely made to make the FBI look bad.

    String beans

Solid second episode for Clarice, starting to see some chemistry developing in the cast, still a rigid lead. Storyline was interesting and had decent enough resolution.

Much better than first episode, now we're talking

Much much better episode than first one, but these reboots from stellar classics are not needed. I have already dropped from my DVR, The Equalizer. I'm glad this, the second episode of Clarice, was better than the first. I'm still confused about the significance and how this relates with Silence of the Lambs or Manhunter. They did mention Buffalo Bill. We shall see how this develops. I did enjoy this episode and it kept me involved.

Good show with a lot of potential

The show did a better job to hem up one of the issues I had with the pilot. And that's the relationship with clarify and the main FbI guy. It appears it is as it should be...team chemistry and the dynamics of a person in the bottom suddenly on the top, but without gaining the normal experience requisite to do so. And the inherent mistrust of everyone surrounding the elevated person. I was worried it was just a sexist thing. It's not. So I am glad the did not do a distracting cliche and are sticking to a it being a team building norm (storming stage)

Also glad the politicians daughter was not in plot. As that would be annoying, unrealistic and distracting. But I fear it may pop up in very 3 episodes

    • Trivia
This episode was the first in the series to be filmed during the Covid-19 pandemic, hence the reason why it's mostly contained within a militia group's compound.
    • Goofs
In the episode there is a reference made to Waco, but the events in Waco happened in 1993 whereas this season is set in 91/92.
    • Quotes

Ardelia Mapp: Twizzlers and Diet Coke are food groups now? Oh, I see we're starting the day cleaning a deadly weapon. Okay. Enough of that. They're gonna make you apologize. You *going* to apologize?

Clarice Starling: [doing push-ups] This is not a serial killer.

Ardelia Mapp: It's a series of killings.

Clarice Starling: Krendler issued a statement that I spoke prematurely, and that all the evidence I found was inconclusive.

Ardelia Mapp: He has to salvage an investigation that you just kicked in the toilet by letting the bad guys know we're onto them.

Clarice Starling: Someone had to speak up for those families.

Ardelia Mapp: And you know better.

      Clarice Starling: I know!

      [finishing]

Clarice Starling: I know. I lost control. I shouldn't have said it that way.

Ardelia Mapp: Coulda, woulda, shoulda. You also shot a guy yesterday. You haven't done that since Bill. Think that might have something to do with it?

Clarice Starling: Maybe. I don't know, Ardelia. Maybe I should just go back to the BSU lab.

Ardelia Mapp: Good. Hide like a bridge troll. Your best is in the field. You know that. But here's the thing. Going rogue like that sends your team the message that you don't trust them. That's no way for anyone to survive out there.
