Arlo the Alligator Boy (2021)

Goofs

Arlo the Alligator Boy

Edit

Revealing mistakes

Bertie loses her hair flower when fighting the Beast. When Arlo is turning down living with Ansel in favor of his friends, Bertie has her flower back, and when she is seen again as the group hugs Arlo, she doesn't have it.
When Arlo is opening his eyes after Ansel rescues him and is flying him through the air, he briefly has a double set of teeth in his lower jaw when it should be single.
While Arlo is singing "Beyond These Walls", he puts his guitar down next to him as he says "They wouldn't listen, my freedom song," but in the next shot as he paces around the bedroom, the whole window can be seen, but the guitar is missing.
In "Beautiful Together" as Arlo and his friends pose in a fountain, the bottom of Furlecia's feet are missing.
The upper window of Edmee's shack constantly flips back and forth between shots.

Miscellaneous

The alligators Arlo interacts with during "More More More" are smaller in size; however when one briefly swallows Arlo whole, it is much taller than him.
At the end of the movie when Arlo gives Bertie a replacement hair flower, he puts it on the right side of her head instead of the left; in the next scene, it's in its proper position.
At the very end of "Something's Missing", Arlo drops his head so that it's facing the floor, but in the next shot as he looks up, his head is only partially lowered. Also, Arlo has his mouth closed when he drops his head, but when he looks up, his mouth is open slightly.
When the model of Seaside by the Seashore is first seen, the buildings are worn out, and there is a figure of young Ansel. However, whenever the model flips over to the model of the city expansion replacement, the buildings are brand new, and the figure is missing.
Whenever the model of Seaside by the Seashore flips to the model of the city replacement, it rotates on its side, but when it flips back to Seaside by the Seashore before "Beautiful Together", it rotates forward.

Plot holes

When Ansel's interview ends, the subtitle says the Met Gala is Monday night, which is the night after Arlo met Ansel. However, when Ruff and Stucky see the ad, the subtitle says the Met Gala is that night instead.
In Ansel's flashback, Ansel is shown getting off a bus before a sign both which read "New York", and faces what appears to be the same bridge Arlo and his friends took when they entered the city. Either way, Ansel would already be in New York City, given that Seaside by the Seashore is in Brooklyn, which is one of the city boroughs connecting to Manhattan.

Character error

In the beginning when Arlo and Jeromio get on a log, Jeromio is facing Arlo when he hops on, but when the log stops in the next scene, Jeromio is facing away from Arlo.
When Arlo is about to cheer just before "Beautiful Together" begins, the blush in his cheek disappears for one frame.
In some scenes of the movie, Alia's eyelashes disappear.
During "Beyond These Walls" as Jeromio emerges from the clouds wearing a suit and holding a parasol, his eyes are yellow instead of orange.
When Arlo jumps into Ansel's arms to hug him onstage, the top of his snout turns green for a few frames.
