The final sword fight between Artos and Caydern was filmed in its entirety twice. All of the flame and fire effects were added during the second run, and the time of day was changed from afternoon to night.
Leading lady Marilyn Burns (Wenneveria) is the older sister of leading man Aaron Burns (Artos).
