It's no secret that cooking shows have exploded over the years, so it makes sense that TruTV wants to cash in on that. And to be honest, I like the idea of more adult oriented cooking show, and I like having celebrities (except for the ones I don't like haha). But damn, I cannot stand the pretentious chefs. Jeremy is okay, but Kristen has GOT to go, and Justin is not that much better. I have always thought chefs in these shows are pretentious. I mean, people whom you refer to by their job title include Dr., Officer, Professor, annnnd.... Chef?? But Kristin takes it to another level. Apparently putting an ice cube on a hamburger patty when you grill it is the cooking tip of the century. Also, Justin acts like he can only make Japanese related dishes. Get some variety bro.
Again, good premise, could be a great show. Tweak the cooks.

I love this show. I'm the process of giving up shows that are full of drama. I'm looking for fun, and heart warming. I wasn't sure about this show because cooking competitions can be intense and I'm trying to relax more but this show hits the spot!
Yes it's a competition but they aren't super competitive and petty with each other. They are actually very supportive of each other and I really like that. I find myself smiling a lot while watching.
The food looks good. I love that they have two rounds to compete in. The guests have been fun and they fit in nicely with the chefs.
I wish there were more seasons because I'm almost done with season 1 and I know that I'll watch season 2 in less than a week.

I would love to know if these impressive chefs are really cool with wanting to recreate their guests favorite fast food! They must cringe at their guests devotion to American slop! It is awesome these chefs take it So seriously! I want to taste all of their creations, they look way yummier than the originals. Much fun that everyone gets to get drunk and swear!! There are so many chef competition shows on air, seriously chefs are The Most competitive people ever!

I'm a very longtime fan of Top Chef, so am familiar with all 3 of these chefs. Who knew they were so cool and funny?
It's such a unique/bizarre concept, that I nearly turned it off. Insomnia, middle of the night, tru-tv was on. These guys are competing to recreate a fast food dish, and then deconstruct the ingredients to make a completely different dish. Ugh...poor explanation.
Regardless, the show is hilarious, and these 3 chefs are creating amazing things.
One last thing....if the show changes format or something, may I please request the Chomp Trophy? Thank you in advance!

Doesn't work. A bunch of young chefs who are not that funny, trying to be entertaining and really trying too hard.
Needs something else to make it watchable, some kind of structure on the interactions, or straight man to temper all the one up man ship of the bad unscripted humor or something, I don't know what would help. Cooking shows (or any kind of reality show) really do have to have a lot of authenticity in the people to make them watchable. But here all the authenticity I feel is a bit of sadness under the faked enthusiasm of the chefs.
Food premise is also uninspired. We don't really learn a lot about cooking. Just 3 talented but pretentious young chefs kind of showing off.
Format is a failure. And I'm sure these 3 chefs are talented and nice people, but not everybody was meant to be a TV star.
