Are you sure this shouldn't be named the "Wil Wheaton Interjects Himself Into Everything and Tries to Remain Relevant Show"? I'm sick of him constantly making everything about himself. He talks too much and the guests can't get a word in edgewise. He's just so jealous that his acting career was never that great. Sorry, but this needs a new host that knows how to listen.
New episode means new Ready Room and that means bonus Trek for your week! It's just a delight to watch Will 's interviews and sneak pics. He's such a great host and fan.

Wil Wheaton is perfect as The Ready Room host because his enthusiasm and his knowledge are real. Whether you loved or hated the Wesley Crusher character, Wil was a significant part of Next Gen, and through all of his personal ups and downs, he remained connected to his cast mates and to the franchise. While he didn't land a significant role in this latest Star Trek iteration, he managed to land as much total screen time as several of his former colleagues while making an important contribution to the community.
All that said, I'm hoping for the very long-awaited continuation of Star Trek: Assignment Earth, featuring Supervisor Wesley Crusher and Kore Soong. Make it so.

Will, I do enjoy most all of the discussion topics you cover. But I have a difficult time trying to watch while having to see the forced & over the top enthusiasm thats exhibited. I feel like I'm watching a show meant for children. Wish you would tone it down some. Sorry!!

- TriviaThe first officially licensed Star Trek aftershow was called "After Trek" and hosted by Matt Mira which covered the first Season of Star Trek: Discovery. It failed, the budget was slashed, and the very first season of "The Ready Room" was the result. The first season had no behind the scenes and a very small set. Season 2 of "The Ready Room" got rebranded with Wil Wheaton and got almost the full budget back, complete with all kinds of behind the scenes video packages.
