"Hardcore Records" is a cover for the real "Aggro Berlin" record company.
One month after this movie premiere, on 23rd March 2010 Bushido was convicted by a Hamburg court house due to copyright infringement. French Neo-classic rock band "Dark Sanctuary" sued Bushido in 2008 due to plagiarism in 8 cases on his 2005album "Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück". After the verdict the album was not sold anymore and all unsold releases were destroyed.
Despite Arafat Abou-Chaker, portrayed by Moritz Bleibtreu, appeared earlier in the film (Moritz Bleibtreu also had second billing in the credits), he had his first lines after 56 minutes of the movie's run-time.
When talking to Bushido in his car on the way to his father Arafat Abou-Chaker calls him "Habibi". "Habibi" is a Persian last name that is often used as a nickname for "Buddy" or "Darling".
