Lock & Load

This was great fun - proper 80's throwback that was very self aware.

The action is great, kicks off right from the first minute and doesn't stop until the credits roll.

One thing the film does have going for it in particular is the use of practical FX (minus some CGI blood).

These days you don't even see explosions and real muzzle flashes in Dolph Lundgren movies but these guys did it.

Okay so it can be rough around the edges in places but I had a lot of fun with this and you can tell that they were giving it 100%.

The finale is especially good with a shootout followed by three boss fights.

If you're looking for something fun and light-hearted to watch that doesn't take itself too seriously - this is it!
