LOVED IT!! This is a family-friendly movie that we all enjoyed over the weekend during our hangout family time. Our kids enjoyed it because they loved getting spooked by the scary suspense building up during the film. It did a great job getting us hoooked and leaving us feeling like we'd shared something special. The relationship between Jenny and Connor reminds me a lot of my relationship with my own husband: a strong bond yet sometimes we feel the need for a deep understanding of each other. And honestly, I feel like this family's life is something we can all relate to and see parts of ourselves in. Kudos to writer/director Julia Pierrepont and her talented cast and crew for creating that resonance! I definitely recommend it to other families for their weekend movie night!
We have seen almost all the Lifetime movies and we have to search diligently through LMN, LMC, and Lifetime to find ones we have not seen.
We sat down this afternoon to watch "Missing Twin." The concept is intriguing- this could have been made into a very good movie. Emphasize "could have been." Too many unbelievable things happen. The coincidental scene of the twins sitting side by side at a little day care area. Come on. And then, of course, the sheriff could not be an attractive woman, had to be overweight and plain, to emphasize she was bad.
My wife was telling me this was the worst LMN movie we have seen and I kept telling her that there have been worse...and then, and then, the boomerang scene happened and- yes- that confirmed it was the worst ever.
Would have given it negative stars but we can't go lower than one.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS ONE- make better use of your time by unclogging a drain, or fixing that pipe under your sink...or or or ANYTHING ELSE!!!!

The only somewhat "interesting" part was the ending, and even then it was extremely lame. I could write a 10 page essay on why this movie doesn't even deserve one star.
I love lifetime thrillers even though they usually have bad actors, ridiculous scripts and the same storylines over and over again. However, this movie takes all those ingredients to such extremes that it stops being funny. Every single sentence that is spoken by the characters is annoying and/or stupid. And it´s also quite boring for the first hour. All the characters are beyond ridiculous, but I guess if you watch the last half hour as a comedy, it could be fun. Maybe it was supposed to be a joke? The ending seems to suggest it.
I just saw this last night - a very cool watch! It's not the scariest movie ever, but, unlike alot of thrillers, it affected me deeply and took me on an interesting journey. It was very well cast and directted and the pace really worked. I love films that use the kind of eery, tense atmosphere that builds and builds as you anticipate the ending! Plus, the slow, artful reveal of the truth during Jenny's personal investigation and the cool plot twists kept me totally into it till the great rollercoaster ending! A definite thumbs up!
