    Likable

    Main character is adorable. This is a sweet goofy show. Not a serious series so take it for what it is.

    Escapism at his best

    I get that these days series have to be either controversial, political or "squid game" brutal to differentiate themselves but I think we need more of these easy watch good feeling series right now. Yes it's not realistic, yes could be better but it's enjoyable, characters are likeable and the visual are fun, so yes let's not be overly critical about it and compare it to other series out there who are trying to push the boundaries. So far so good!

    Solid new comedy

    I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. I get if you don't find the resort pool-boy setting interesting, but 1 star?? It feels like some of these people just don't like Apple focusing on a Mexican family. It's not even all Spanish.

    Anyway, the show is pretty simple, with an older version of the main character narrating the story to his grandson, which is a bit cliched, but the story has heart and I found myself laughing a few times.

    Sweet and Nostalgic

    Certainly the show is not for everyone and not everyone will appreciate it's sweet tone. I am a Spanish speaker so the show is easier for me to enjoy. It took me away to another place and time and I am thoroughly on board. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

    I can't believe these bad reviews. This show is charming and lovely and funny. It's my new favorite show. It's feel good tv to escape this horrible world for a moment. Do not believe the negative comments. The lead man is handsome and charismatic. Watch the show for yourself and decide.

      Season one and two were filmed at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Specifically, the main filming location is the Barceló Puerto Vallarta Hotel, which is painted pink and serves as the fictional "Las Colinas" hotel in the show. Many of the exterior shots of the pool were filmed at the Westin Resort and Spa which is pink and yellow. The Barcelo Vallarta is located in Mismaloya Beach in south Puerto Vallarta.
