At the bar she meets Kyle, handsome, charming he claims to be 25 and she revels in his attention. After one too many drinks, they share a passionate night. She is later stunned to see Kyle in her class, who claims to be a fan of her best-selling book on serial killer Cordell. A few months later, Maggie sleeps with a much younger man and she becomes suspicious of the young man's motives when the young woman her husband had an affair with ends up dead and she finds out the young man has a shocking connection to the East Bay Butcher serial killer.
