Part 3

Having travelled to the mall village of Elvingdale, Guy discovers Peter Antrobus, the man Melissa was apparently having an affair with, but he's not what he was expecting.

A super stylish episode, now the plot really does begin to twist and turn, why does everyone around Guy appear to be lying to him, and what motive would they have for doing so? It's such a wonderfully clever plot, credit to Durbridge for creating such an elaborate plot.

Tony Britton is so charming as Guy, he's so certain, almost a little naive, the whole cast performed very well throughout I thoughy. I'm struck by the high quality of the series. Worth pointing out that there are some very long static scenes, very typical of sixties British dramas.
