    Great Episode!!!

Fun entertaining episode with some backstory on Comic Book Guy. Also nice Wes Anderson style of animation.

"This one seems all right". Well written fun backstory. Worth it!

"Hold on, this one seems all right. A little stuck up but all right!"

Unpretentious, well written episode. I liked it! Fun backstory of one of the iconic non named characters ( there is actually a little inside joke/teaser hinting for a second to the name revelation that of course is dismissed soon after. Doh!) with high quality references that affect even the style of the scenes. Worth to be watched. The references to the cinema of a certain famous director are not all obvious, I had to read about it to catch all of them. But very good use of it! Great ending song oh la la by Faces. Fun and on spot also the representation of the nerd-based relationship.

    Actually, a good episode!

At first I thought this was another bad episode like the others, but it was actually good! Though Treehouse of Horror XXXI was bad, it is still awesome. Keep up the great work Simpsons!

Sets itself apart from the "run of the mill" episodes

It's been a long time since an episode has stood out this much. If episodes continue to be like this I have high hopes for The Simpsons in the future.

    • Trivia
This episode contains several references to the films of Wes Anderson. The title is a reference to The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Comic Book Guy's backstory has several similarities to the opening of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) while the locations are modeled after Moonrise Kingdom (2012), and the song "Ooh La La" by The Faces, typeface, and listing surnames in all capitals during the closing credits are taken from Rushmore (1998).
