Christmas is fast approaching, and Sol-i wonders what to gift Heon. Ha-young tells her that a card alone might not be enough, as Hui-Ji is knitting a scarf for Heon. Sol-i's parents find Sol-i's card for Heon at home.
Sol-i plans for a grand proposal to tell Heon her feelings at the barbecue with the help of Ha-young and Jin-Hwan. At the moment Heon is supposed to arrive, Hui-Ji appears, and this leads to a misunderstanding on Sol-i's part.

Heon tells his mother that his plans for university are actually different from what she intended for him. When Dae-Seong's grandmother goes missing, and he frantically searches for her, it forces him to rethink his priorities in life.
