That's all you need to know.
Listen to Season 1, because it's one of the best fiction podcasts around.
Season 2 is a blatant cash grab; it's almost comically by-the-numbers.
(Clearly the original editors and sound people were no longer associated with the project)

Triumphcoffeepdx22 is "spot on". It's listed as a TV series. The fun is that its as a 1930-1955 US national radio show. Not an audio book. With newer sci-fi, Rami Malek and better audio!
It's on spotify so you can listen to it on Spotify is my review long enough yet?

Love the description by a previous reviewer of it being a radio show. Rami is amazing, this show is amazing. Great audio. Keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for more episodes!

An incredible audio drama series with an excellent script, great performances, and, in season 2, some outstanding immersive audio design! I recommend listening to this on quality headphones for the best experience.

First let me just rave about QCode and their new Sonos immersive audio! I have listened in my car and on some good quality over the ear headphones, and both have been incredible listening experiences.
This is a Radio Play, newer technology but it employs the same type cast and crew, even studio space, as the old radio plays from the early part of the 20th Century. Back then some broadcast station, such as CBS, would provide studio space with sound engineers and audio technologists of their day and the actors, script, direction, and so forth would come in and act out their story. Back then it was live, but this is a rebooted audio story format for the 21st century.
I don't agree with two of the previous reviews about season 2 being sub-par to season 1. Season 2 jumps about in flashback to provide background on characters and motivations but I do not see this as a detriment. If anything, it's made it a stronger tale in my opinion.
I have been completely immersed in this story. Season 2 has brought surprises that have genuinely caused me to gasp and exclaim. The actors know their stuff, I am loving the tale and am kind of sad to know that this may be the end because I definitely want more!
If you have enjoyed this story check out one named "Ronstadt" and one titled "The Burning Photo," both are also by QCode and are immersive sound plays that I have listened to on Spotify. They are similar in atmosphere.

I started listening to this series once I saw this in Rami Malek's works and am I glad I did!
I watched this at dark lying down (in surround sound), so that might help imagining the story.. but what a story they created!
Rami Malek for sure added a lot of flavor to the experience, which really was very exciting and well put together. It keeps you on edge the whole time, which can't always be the case when you are on a budget and creating tv.
The voice actors really nailed it.
I really recommend this to everyone, it's an awesome experience!
