Silent Night

I'm sometimes skeptical about whether micro short horror films can actually be scary, since building up suspense takes time-something a one-minute film doesn't have. Interestingly, Silent Night truly scared me by taking an approach that likely works best for the ultra-short format. And yes, I genuinely got scared.

Given the title of the short film and the clear Christmas setting, I was expecting something along the lines of an evil Santa. But once again, the film took a different-and perhaps quite unconventional-approach. There was no way I could have predicted what was coming. Kudos to the director for that choice!
