ARK: Genesis - Part 1

The DLC is pure terrible, a severe let down to the ARK franchise, and for all the people who thought Extinction was the worst well think again!

Wow... im disappointed.... I paid 35 BUCKS FOR THIS!!! 35!!! Higher than any of the other ARK DLC's on Steam currently keep in mind, all that money just to how badly they butchered this franchise!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK WILDCARD!!!!

I'm sorry to the people who rated this higher than 3 star but there is really nothing good or even decent about this one... the missions are boring, the soundtrack is the same as always, graphics are the same. Everything is the same and is definitely something not worth $29.99 on Steam....

As a long time fan of ARK, I played every single DLC of the game and really enjoyed them. Scorched Earth was very hard but also very fun at the same time, Aberration is the best of all of them I love it's design choice and soundtrack is beautiful. Extinction took a little time getting use to but I still enjoyed it. Now Genesis part 1 and part 2 for that matter are just awful, they take the immersion that you would have in ARK and tossed it away, replacing it with missions and an AI that follows you and gives you orders. Overall disappointing.

This is one hell of an embarrassment from a very competent studio, this DLC pays no attention to what made ark an at least decent video game Genesis sucks all that out and is replaced...thanks Wildcard >:(.
