Rifftrax: The Wonderful Land of Oz

A bazaar musical movie made all that much better by Mike and the bots. Well Mike, Bill and Kev... you know what I mean. That's all you really need to know but IMDB say's my review is too short. (?). So one time, in grade school... Okay, let's see. It's surprising that the movie ever saw the light of a projector in a public theater. The main character, young Tip, is played by the directors son. The poor kids lines are so forced I felt bad for him. And it gets worse.

The sets look like they were made by the kids club for a Sat. Morning variety show. The cheap costumes and poor lighting add an element of creepy to the bazaar dialogue and then everyone mouths the words to a song!

The riffs are "on". By 2017 Mike, Kevin and Bill have become a well oiled joke juggernaut. The team is not just phoning it in for this movie. The riff themes build and the guys plays off each others lines so well I laughed out loud so much I had to pause and rewind a few times. I spent the running time flip flopping between cringing and cracking up. It's OZ man. Don't go there too high or without a few funny friends by tour side.
