I happen upon this show and thought wow a positive drama free show. NOPE the first episode I see is a black women brunch in which they chase after the one white women in the room because she is uncomfortable about their experiences with racism. The Black women ran out of the brunch to comfort this lady.
It felt like a scene from the color purple in which Ms Millie took Oprah to see their kids and was scared of the black guys helping her with her car and became hysterical. This show is a hot mess. Horrible

None of these people on this show are millionaires. The show is a FAKE. Do your due diligence and look them up. They do not represent African American women entrepreneurs in Jackson, MS.
While I'm very ecstatic to see more very intelligent, very talented black women on the scene, I am however, very disappointed to see the them displaying themselves in such trifling manner (REALLY!) Come on ladies, get it together / protect your brand! I can't even stand to watch this show, as I don't want that "whatever," in my spirit.... Yall know better!!
I'm not a reality show fan, but I did watch this because I live in the area. I enjoy your they present the city and highlight some of its good qualities. As for the show itself, it's your typical reality. If you love this genre of TV then you will love this show. The women get your attention. The conflicts they find themselves in are a bit shallow and childish, but that's "reality" TV for you. I hope that the show succeeds since it is located in an area that rarely gets TV time. I will continue to support it for the greater good, but I do think that reality TV fans would be happy with this.
Belles shouldn't have to be "bleeped". I know many true MS Belles (black and white) that should have been filmed. I'd bet they could even teach Oprah a thing or two. Or twelve. Shame.
