Insomniac Frightmare Killers

This is a low budget experimental film, that maybe Maya Deren would be proud of. Insomniac Frightmare Killers is far from typical film making and a long way away from Hollywood produced movies! The film is about Lucifer Beelzebub - what he sees, what he watches on TV, what is going on in his head, how he is treated by society and how this affects him. A film that lacks color correction and raw with documentary style meets scripted scenes. It does have a Tobe Hooper feel to it. If you are watching late night TV on cable you may run across this obscure film that breaks all the rules of Filmmaking 101.

Like all low budget films that are about to be put out to pasture, they end up on late night cable. Before this film has been giving its last rights, I decided to watch it. The is more of a performance art film then a cinematic film. Although film goes from shooting styles of performance art, documentary style and cinematic style. The film is about what a psychopath sees and what is in his head. The cast has a few recognizable faces but mostly unknown people similar extremely low budget films. Late night after you have had a few is the perfect spot for this film. VHS is obsolete as 8-tracks, but this film may have ended up in department stores on the $1 bin.
