"Papu, Bonny ja Heikki" aired on Wednesdays between January 2 and May 29, 1991. It was shown as various segments across the episodes of the children's magazine program "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" at Yle TV1 channel. After the first season, Papu continued as a host of "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" and in his spin-off series Papushow (1992). A four-part second season of "Papu, Bonny ja Heikki" aired on selected Wednesdays between January 29 and May 27, 1992, also overlapping with "Papushow".
