This movie ruins the whole saga.
The story is forced and absurd and its development makes no sense, just as the main conflict is unnecessary. The animation is horrible, it is of very low quality despite the fact that the production company is very powerful and millionaire. The character development is poor, the writers completely forgot about important characters from the past movies, and the new characters they introduce don't make much sense for them to be included, just as there are no indications of at what point in the timeline of the entire saga this sixth installment is located. The humor is creepy, the story gets boring at the end as it's predictable and not surprising or different, the main conflict doesn't make any sense.
It's a lousy movie plot-wise and visually ugly, it's just not worth it.

Buck is my Favorite character and I was looking So Forward to this new animation. :(
I knew as soon as it started that something looked Flat about the animation and the voices didn't ring true, because they aren't the original voices, except for Simon Pegg. And the cartoon was more about Eddie and Crash than Buck.
Not a great story, hated the stupid villain and it just wasn't the fun ride with Buck I was expecting.
All I have to do is think about the scene with the cave and the gas from Dawn of the Dinosaurs and it still cracks me up. Sadly, not much funny going on in this new movie. Too bad. : (

The first 3 Ice Age movies are great family movies that kids and adults can enjoy alike. I rewatched them recently, so I don't think it's my nostalgia speaking.
This, in my opinion, is the worst Ice Age movie (for now). After the previous movie from 2016 I didn't think that was possible, but here we are.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild is a genuinely bad movie, and it doesn't help that it's not geared towards a family. I didn't feel a thing while watching this. Show it to some kid who is 12y old or younger, and you will maybe get some reaction or laugh from them. Adults will not find anything in here, only unanswered questions and disappointment.
Animation is terrible. Ice Age 2, which is 16 years old right now, has better animation than this. In some ways, even Ice Age 1 looks better. I know that this is "straight to steaming" movie, but I don't care, we are talking about Disney here.

As a huge fan of the original Ice Age, it was sad to see this franchise go down hill. The final nail of the coffin was Collision Course, but now, with Disney buying Fox, Disney made this garbage. I did not have high expectations, but still watched it because "how bad could it be?" Well, it was AWFUL. Firstly, the animation is hideous. I get that the animators probably tried with the small budget (maybe) but, the movements and background were really bad. The main characters are dull and generic, the comedy is very cringy. For an example, at the beginning, Crash and Eddie do this very cringy montage of wearing rich clothes and doing dances or something (I mostly forgot and don't wanna look back at the dumpster fire of this movie) Simon Pegg gives a very soulless performance as Buck in this movie, he just sounds tired and done with this franchise (no hate to Simon Pegg). Also the villain (yes there is a villain) is garbage, don't know how else to say it, he just sucks. And I can go on and on, just, don't watch this movie. It'll be the worst 82 minutes of you're life. And I watched Collision Course, twice. (Sorry if this review is poorly constructed, I just, can't waste much longer writing this review on this garbage movie)
So you've made another movie but without the original artists and voice actors?!!!!!! Pa-thetic! Why why why?! Only one person came back that was an original voice actor.

- TriviaSimon Pegg is the only original Ice Age cast member to reprise his role.
- GoofsThough the film is meant to take place at least after Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Peaches, the daughter of Manny and Ellie, is noticeably absent even though she was born in said movie. Furthermore, if the film takes place after Ice Age: Collision Course (2016), the characters Shira and Brooke are also missing without any explanation or mention of them.
- Crazy creditsDespite being co-produced by 20th Century Studios, there is no 20th Century Studios logo in the opening or closing credits.
