This short film was originally created for and aired on "Theatre of Shadows," a science fiction and macabre web series created by George Streicher.
The project was originally going to be shot on 16mm, black and white film. The filmmakers chose to shoot on digital to prove how beneficial it is to time and budget. Also, to prove that there is no immediate difference in quality between film and video.
The story is an adaptation of an old 'camp fire tale' that director, George Streicher, used to tell when he was a youth in the Boy Scouts of America.
