Aztlan: POWER HOUSE

I actually am still in a daze after just watching this film. It is so powerful. It picks up its pace and hits its stride so well. It's scary at times and so not something to watch with the kiddies, but definitely one to watch if you love a good thriller. The best part is this thriller has such a powerful and human story that pushes Aztlan forward and layering his actions instead of it just being a chase/ action film.

A must watch

Where do I start? A film that is so current and conscious of the world it lives in with its myriad issues and also a timeless tale of the human spirit and want for redemption and fight for survival. This is so beautifully shot, masterfully edited and the sound design is just awesome. The final 3 scenes made me watch through semi closed eyes as I was so scared for the central character. What a cleverly directed film. Sadly, the journey of the central character is true for millions of people around the globe and it is great to see films like Aztlan shining a light on their plight.
